- Analytics and Tracking Technologies
Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).
Google Tag Manager is a technical administration tool that allows us to manage website tags – such as the analytics tag described below – from a central location. Google Tag Manager does not set any cookies of its own and does not collect personal data for its own purposes. It only controls whether and when other services are activated, in accordance with your consent settings.
The Google Tag Manager code is stored on our own server and delivered from there. As a result, no connection to Google servers is established when our website is loaded.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the technically reliable and data protection compliant management of the services used on our website.
Google Analytics 4
Subject to your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics enables us to understand how visitors use our website, so that we can improve our content and its usability. For this purpose, a pseudonymous identifier is stored in a cookie and usage information is transmitted to Google.

In Google Analytics 4, IP addresses are used only transiently in order to derive approximate location information. They are not logged or stored by Google.

- _ga – storage period 2 years – used to distinguish users
- _ga_<container> – storage period 2 years – used to persist session state
Event data and user data are retained for a maximum of 14 months and are deleted automatically thereafter.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and, under Swiss data protection law, Art. 31(1) of the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
Google Ireland Limited is our contractual partner for the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Data may nevertheless be transferred to Google LLC in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, its UK Extension, and the Swiss–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. In addition, standard contractual clauses have been agreed as part of the Google Ads Data Processing Terms, on the basis of which we have concluded a data processing agreement with Google.

Google Consent Mode
We use Google Consent Mode v2. Before you give your consent, no cookies are set and no identifiers are transmitted. In this state, Google receives only cookieless signals that contain no identifiers permitting your identification. These signals are used solely to produce aggregated, statistically modelled reports.
Once you consent to the “Statistics” category, the measurement described above takes place. Signals relating to advertising remain deactivated, as we do not use any advertising services.
